It was tedious and time consuming with all the unwrapping and re-wrapping of the wiring, but the results were worth it. Essentially, I made my own overlay harness.
I then pulled the existing Beetle's harness apart enough to replace the wiring for the old sensors with the newer one. I pulled the harness apart and removed the wiring for the two sensors along with the pins for the computer connections. As a substitute, a friend gave me a complete harness out of a newer Jetta (don't remember year). I was not able to obtain overlay harnesses for the G38 & G68 sensors. Just wanted to give an update on what I ended up doing in order to get the 01M functioning properly.
